Internet Explorer 10 Features And Release Date [IE10]

Microsoft recently released Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview 3 on September 13, 2011. It will release with the windows 8. It currently in the development. New items such as Web Sockets, Web Workers, 3D Transforms, IndexedDB and Application Cache are music to the ears of many Web developers who want to make rich, interactive Web sites.

IE 10 also is a key foundation for Windows 8 applications. IE10's ability to run "chromeless" in a full-screen mode and a touch-friendly design. The better the browser's support for new technologies, the better next-gen Windows apps can be. In particular, the apps based on browser technologies will run handily on tablets built with ARM processors.

Nokia Mobile Use Windows OS - Lumia

Nokia has officially unveiled Lumia 800, the first Windows Phone-based device from the mobile giant at the Nokia World conference 2011 in London."It's a new dawn for Nokia, And we think we can break through." CEO Stephen Elop said at Nokia World Conference 2011 in London.


Microsoft has also packed the device with free software. Lumia 800 will be the only Windows Phone with Nokia Drive, which offers full, turn-by-turn voice navigation. Nokia is taking the right steps to diversify their phones by offering three apps you won't find with other carriers are the ESPN hub, Nokia Drive for turn-by-turn directions, and a music app that will do music mixes and streaming radio. Nokia Drive was the only one we were able to see, and the voice read-out. It's a great addition that will help match Android's turn-by-turn Google Maps navigation.



Microsoft TV Coming Soon

A report from the Seattle Times claims that Microsoft plans to unveil a version of Windows created specifically for internet connected TVS and set top boxes at CES.

Believed to be a direct competitor with the Apple TV and Google TV, Brier Dudley reports the company plans to show off a stripped down version of Windows tailored for internet connected TVs and set top boxes. Of course we expect Microsoft to partner with hardware manufacturers and provide only the OS for the devices in question.

Reaching for the mouse can be an annoying disturbance and personally I often turn over my mouse in such situations. Evolution of Microsoft Windows OS

It all began in Plaza Hotel, New York City on the 10th of November 1983. Two Microsoft founders Paul Allen and Bill Gates officially announced their corporation’s first and next-generation graphical user interface operating system – Microsoft Windows.

Despite the criticism on stability and constantly being compared to their rivals Apple Macintosh, Microsoft Windows is still the most widely used operating systems in the world. In this article, we’ll bring you back to 1985 where the very first official Microsoft Windows 1.0 was announced, and then we take a trip down memory lane to see all boot screens and desktop interface of all Windows operating system possible.

Windows 1.01 (1985) : 
Officially released on November 20, 1985, this 16-bit OS that cost less than 1MB in overall is Microsoft’s very first operating system that allows multi tasking with graphical user interface on PC platform that runs on MS-DOS 5.0.


Windows 1.03 (1986) :
Introduced in 1986, Windows 1.03 is an upgrade to its previous predecessor Windows 1.01. Entire operating system cost about 2.2Mb hard disk space.
