Agora Tower In Taiwan

On the last and biggest parcel of land available for residential use in Taipei city, Vincent callebaut's twisting, foliage-filled 'agora tower' will preside over the rest of the urban xinyin district. The architect, known for his distinct Eco-vision, has designed a high-density space that aims at limiting the ecologic footprint of its inhabitants by forging a symbiotic relationship between the urban dweller and nature.

Tall planted balconies of suspended orchards, organic vegetable gardens and and medicinal greenery will take root in the high-performance building. In true cradle-to-cradle fashion, even the construction process transforms itself; industrial waste will be returned as a 'technical nutrient' to be indefinitely recycled. The helicoidal towers appropriate their form from the structure of DNA, conceptually speaking to the building blocks of life, as well as dynamism and twinning. Four types of housing units form a full level allowing their twisting forms to optimize space for open-air hanging gardens. The angled apartments additionally offer exceptional views of the bustling city by multiplying the transversal views of the overall east-west rhomboidal pyramid. Corbelled floors provide structure and privacy.

Core Temp is one of the FREE software i was searching for which is a great , small size program of just 172 KB , which doesn't slow your PC to Monitor CPU temperature.

The uniqueness of it is that it shows the temperature of each individual core in each processor in your system! You can see in real time how the CPU temperature varies when you load your CPU.The temperature readings seem to be very accurate as the data is collected from a Digital Thermal Sensor (or DTS) which is located in each individual processing core, near the hottest part.

It's also completely motherboard independent very compact . It is a tiny but extremely powerful and accurate software and can be easily installed on both Windows Vista and Windows XP also Windows 7 ( x86 and x64 )

 Features :
■Core Temp also has a logging feature, allowing a user to easily record the temperature of his processor(s) over any period of time, then the data can be easily transferred into an excel datasheet for easy graphing.
■Core Temp works on Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista (both 32bit and 64bit versions).
■Plug in system -The plug in system changes that as it will allow any programmer with an idea for a new Core Temp feature\extension to create one, add it to Core Temp and the plug in becomes a part of it.
■Starting with version 0.99, Core Temp implements "Shared Memory" allowing developers access to temperature readings and other CPU statistics provided directly by Core Temp.
■Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) are supplied for both C++ (and other unmanaged languages) and .NET Framework 2.0, allowing easy access to the readings without having to write any shared memory related code.

Audi Hydron Amphibious [Water Car]

Audi Hydron is a 3-seats electric amphibious vehicle that has a narrow cockpit for a better water resistance, electric engine at each wheel and tapered doors for removing water from the front to the rear of the car. I would love to drive one!

Yes! It is a future car (electric) that can walk on the water, too.

I know that a car that can be driven by water seems more like a dream, but you know that FAA approved a flying car, so why not a “boat-car”?

Most Expensive Car $8,000,000 USD

The Maybach Exelero was first introduced by German car manufacturer Maybach in 2005. This two-seater vehicle is said to be the fastest car in the world with a top speed of 351 km/hr. This luxury car is priced at a whopping $8,000,000 USD. At that price it can be safely assumed that you have to be unbelievably wealthy to even fathom buying this baby. If you just happen to win the lottery over and over and think that you can finally lay your hands on a Maybach, I’d suggest you spend that money in acquiring a vacation home in at least three continents along with a Mercedes S-class sedan to accessorize each home. But, if you happen to be P. Diddy, then nothing should stop you from buying this insanely expensive beauty for your 16 year old son’s birthday!

The short form the United States is also standard. Other common forms include the U.S., the USA, and America. Colloquial names include the U.S. of A. and the States. Columbia, a once popular name for the United States, was derived from Christopher Columbus; it appears in the name "District of Columbia".The standard way to refer to a citizen of the United States is as an American. Though United States is the formal appositional term, American and U.S. are more commonly used to refer to the country adjectivally ("American values," "U.S. forces"). American is rarely used in English to refer to people not connected to the United States.

Microsoft Wants To Buy Adobe

Here's an interesting piece of news before we end this week: word on internet has it Microsoft is thinking about acquiring Adobe. Stunned? Well, according to NYT, chief executives of both companies met recently to discuss "how the two companies could team up in the battle against Apple." Another point in their agenda was possible acquisition of Adobe by Microsoft. It has also emerged that Microsoft had a talk with Adobe regarding this several years ago as well, but at that time the deal never moved past informal talks as Microsoft feared antitrust watch-dogs will do their best to jeopardize the deal.

100 Years Ago America [1st Edition Photos]

In the 19th century, the United States acquired land from France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Russia, and annexed the Republic of Texas and the Republic of Hawaii. Disputes between the agrarian South and industrial North over states' rights and the expansion of the institution of slavery provoked the American Civil War of the 1860s. The North's victory prevented a permanent split of the country and led to the end of legal slavery in the United States. By the 1870s, the national economy was the world's largest. The Spanish–American War and World War I confirmed the country's status as a military power. It emerged from World War II as the first country with nuclear weapons and a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
