One of the main reasons A.R.Rahman accepted this film, because this film belongs to a genre he likes which is comedy. A.R.Rahman has also penned the lyrics for the Tamil song Kurukuru Kan in this movie. It's not the first time he is writing lyrics. In this particular case, he really didn't have a choice, because it was suddenly decided that the movie would also include a Tamil number and sitting in LA it was impossible for him to find a lyricist so soon, that's why he decided to give it a shot.
