iPad 3 Release Date And Features

Apple conquered the tablet market with the original iPad, dominated with the iPad 2 and still hasn't found a decent competitor. Apple fans are expecting the release of iPad 3.  Apple sources are pointing to an announcement in the first week of March 2012 to announce the "successor" to the iPad. Apple trying to launch their most expecting product iPad 3 in the coming March month.

Apple is aiming to make the competition tougher by sporting an A6 Quad-core Processor in the iPad 3. Nvidia will offer a quad-core Cortex-A9 processor, and Qualcomm will have the aforementioned MSM8960, a dual-core A15-class processor operating at 1.7GHz. Fabricating Apple’s A6 in 28nm will reduce both die cost and power, yielding a much better product. we hope the device sports a better camera. A 5MP camera would be a welcome upgrade since the iPad 2's camera doesn't really shoot stellar stills. It will support to capture HD videos and photos.

iPad 3 will have a lighter battery life, reducing the weight of the tablet, which will also have a longer battery life. It is also expected that the iPad 3 will have a wireless charging technology, which will be able to charge the battery and transfer data wirelessly. With 4G and LTE smartphones already hitting store shelves in the US, it is quite possible that Apple will adopt the technology in the next gen iPad.

A better display is definitely on the cards but whether or not the resolution is bumped up to 2048x1536 remains to be seen. Since the iPhone 4S was the first smartphone to implement Bluetooth 4.0 technology, we are hoping the same will translate to the iPad 3. It seems like a given that Apple's voice controlled personal assist will translate from the iPhone 4S to the iPad.
